Welcome!
You are officially on my new fan-based blog for the world's best TV show on air, to date: Breaking Bad. I am an avid, maybe even over-the-top fan of this jaw dropping show, and everything connected to it. If you are here reading this, you probably somewhat share the same opinion as me.
So here is my contribution to my favorite show:
I am going to run a fan blog and website, specifically made to bring other fans all over the world closer to related products, promotions, and the content of the show itself.
This may seem a little late to start such a project, seeing as we are 9 episodes into its fourth season. However, due to the amount of thought and time I put into Breaking Bad, I really need a healthy place to keep track of these thoughts, as well as doing my part to support the show! If for some reason, you are one of the unlucky people who has not been able watch seasons 1-3, I will give an extremely short, broad, and over simplified synopsis of the show:
Albuquerque, New Mexico is where our protagonist, Walter White lives in a modest house with his child and pregnant wife. Walt is a very talented chemist who has fallen into an underpaid teaching job at the local high school, teaching chemistry to uninterested teens. The White family is in financial trouble with a baby on the way, when a bombshell is dropped in their lives: Walt is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. An obviously surreal experience, he seems to be fairly numb to the horrifying news. One thought does stay prevalent in Walt's mind, and that is providing for his family.
While on a ride along with his DEA agent brother in law, Walt sees one of his former 'slacker' students, Jesse Pinkman, just slipping past the law at a 'd.i.y.' meth lab. Walt ultimately decides to meet up with Jesse to ask him a strange favor, to be introduced in the the methamphetamine business. Walt wants to use his knowledge of chemistry to provide for his family before he passes on.
From here on the show follows Walter and Jesse through their free falling sprint into one of the most profitable illegal industries in the world. But more so, the plot is a slow progression of Walter White, an average man slipping deeper and deeper into the mindset of a full-time criminal; Walt, our protagonist, breaks bad.
For the rest: I highly suggest you go to www.amazon.com and order all of the seasons of Breaking Bad to get the full effect of this amazing show.
